"Come down and join the circus"

The Auckland Cosplay Ball was started in 2009, it's run by users on the Cosplay New Zealand forum. The ball is a time for people new and old to cosplay to meet new people and be entertained. This years theme is "circus", which does not mean you need to dress to that, but will be what the event is themed after.

We have events for people attending, which they need to apply for before the event. One of these is the Cosplay Showcase which allows you to show off your costume with a reference picture up on the projector. Another is Cosplay Performances which is just like what it sounds like.

This year we'll be trying out a new event as well! A Murder Mystery if you want a key part, you will also need to apply.
